Less than three hours train ride from Tokyo, Nikko offers a completely different sight than Tokyo. With its weather, sights and less crowd, the city is a perfect getaway from the bustling Tokyo. Nikko is famous among tourists, whether domestic and international. It is the home of the mausoleum of the shogun Ieyasu and also the location of Futarasan Shrine, a more than 1200 years old shrine.
