I stayed at a trailer hotel (love song) with a YouTuber Kuroworks, and it was quite touching.
Located at Kita-Ibaraki of Ibaraki prefecture, I stayed at a trailer hotel called “Hotel the love song”.
Trailer hotels, also called trailer houses, are still rare in Japan.
I did a coverage of this trailer hotel that’s right on the beach side of Kita-Ibaraki.
I went with a YouTuber Kuroworks that has been increasing in popularity with his cars, DIY, and travel videos.
One of the Samurai Flag share house residents Tessi, who’s a Cambridge University exchange student (Italian) joined us as well.
↑The President, Genchan, debuted for YouTube too!
The inside of the trailer was very fancy.
The bed is a luxury double bed, and there are several bunk beds for others to sleep.
In the kitchen is a refrigerator, and a microwave.
Even though it’s a trailer, there is a toilet and a shower so there is no problem with living here.
And the most touching part is how close the ocean is.
Unlike a view from a hotel or ryokan, the view from the trailer hotel is right at front seat.
I believe this is the charm of the trailer hotel.
There are other characteristics of this particular trailer hotel.
There is a onset facility called “Yu Kappe” and a Korean restaurant “Yokorassho”
“Yu Kappe” has a really nice view of the ocean.
Watching the sunrise while in the Onsen was relaxing as well as fascinating.
Below the Onsen is a cafe.
↑There is even a foot bath.
They sell famous cheese cake here as “Kanraku Cafe” and are being sold at many stores.
The taste is excellent, but also you can many different cheese cakes here!
“Yokorassho” is mainly Korean food, but the most popular is “Karashi Yaki”.
80% of the customers that eat here com back for more! The dish has sweet and sour sauce with thick slice of pork and cabbage and cucumbers.
Its delicious just as is, but with rice it’s amazing.
You can also change the spicy level as you desire but with extra charge.
This dish is a must have if you come here.
I was able to tell from the atmosphere that the locals really appreciated the food!
We went during the winter season so I wasn’t able to enjoy, but you can also BBQ here.
There is also a beach where you can swim during the summer.
This area is close to the highway so it’s easy access from the city.
This place really made me feel like I want to come again soon!
